VIPSHOP has acquired over 300 followers on Little Red Book, receiving numerous inquiries about VIPSHOP on a daily basis.
VIPSHOP, a renowned online retailer in China, also known as VIP.com (唯品会), has expanded its presence into the Southeast Asia market by establishing its headquarters in Singapore. Being a prominent e-commerce platform in China, VIPSHOP intends to raise brand awareness and gain recognition among Chinese consumers in the Southeast Asia region. Little Red Book being one of the most used Chinese social media apps in the Southeast Asia region, our company has been entrusted by VIPSHOP to create and manage their official Little Red Book account.
In addition to social media management, we have collaborated with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to enhance VIPSHOP visibility and reputation within the Little Red Book community.
As a part of managing their official Little Red Book social media account, we have helped VIPSHOP in curating attractive visuals and written content to promote their brand as a discount platform that offers wide range of international and China authentic brands, catering to consumers outside of China. Besides these account postings, we also helped VIPSHOP in producing short videos. Short videos are the latest content format to attract users therefore it is important to produce videos that showcase their product offerings, quality of products and discounts information to make information easy to digest for consumers.
With the rise in the numbers of Singapore and Malaysia Chinese users in Little Red Book, there is a good percentage of KOLs sharing fashion, beauty and product recommendations content. These KOLs content will be able to highly capture the heart of their followers as reviews and recommendation are genuine and real. Engaging KOLs is one of the strategy to amplify brand voice and recognition among the Little Red Book community as they have the ability to influence consumers’ purchasing behaviours, attracting more new and potential consumers to explore VIPSHOP and its products offerings. In one of our recent KOL campaign, we engaged 5 Malaysian KOLs to promote VIPSHOP’s products offering and their gamification program to get more consumers onboard with VIPSHOP.
